Lol, I think that’s a myth that people with hand-wind movements told to the owners of automatics after they had been adopted en masse for 20+ years. While I like handling my watches as much as the next guy but it’s just not something I’m in love with, nor is finding my watch stopped rather frequently.

The Holy Grail though...now that is something to behold and handle. I’ll just have to make due with my Heuer Pasadena non-Pasadena as far as a Lemania 5100 “fix”.
