William of Ockham Would Agree
In Response To: "are original Monaco cases" ()

William of Ockham would definitely agree!!

Simplest explanation -- case was made for Heuer, but never used by Heuer. So it made its way into the "after-market" / underground, and someone decided that it would be nice to add the serial number.

So, yes, an original case made for Heuer, but doubtful that Heuer assembled this particular watch with this particular case . . . right??

: Hi
: an expert of a small watch case factory, not far away, tell me it
: is impossible that a single engeneer can built such cases
: without special machines on hand.
: He believes, these are original cases, left over cases, which have
: left the factory "anyhow" on other ways .
: And up to now, no noticeable differences have been indicated.
: So thank you all, if there are no further remarks , I think it is
: an original case.
: cheers
: Mich
