Indeed, It's a Fake
In Response To: Fake Speedway Dial on Ebay. ()

My research into how these dials were made, back in the 1960s, suggests that the Indianapolis Motor Speedway logo on this dial is a fake.

Quick summary -- this logo appears to have been painted onto the dial, rather than printed onto the dial.

I will do a posting regarding this issue, just in case this fake dial makes its way onto an actual watch.
