Sold for about $1600. At least the seller was honest about saying it was most likely painted on later..

: It's a lot more fun dealing with the good guys than dealing with
: the bad guys, but it seems important to let folks know that
: these fakes exist. Most experienced collectors would spot this
: dial, but you can never be certain who might fall into the trap.

: owned the company that did the printing on these special dials!!
: It didn't take her long to dismiss the painted dial as a fake.
