Interesting article about radium dials and radon gas

Hi all,

just read this interesting article on Hodinkee:

https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/new-report-shows-radium-dials-might-pose-serious-danger

So, if you have old watches still using radium dials, take care about the Radon gas:

"...A new study from the good folks at the University of Northampton has shown that we all forgot one essential fact: radium decays to radioactive radon gas, which is readily inhaled and will in sufficient doses significantly increase the risk of lung cancer...".

Hope this helps!

Best.

Gianluca
