Hello and welcome, Keep us posted.
We need to know some ?s about the eara of your New chrono.

1st was it one of the ones on ebay that is like NOS? The NOS ones are like the above post,
You will notice that it has a screw down crrown, and the hands have short white lum on them along with the nicer sub second hands.
If yours is like the one above the screw crown will have a stamp on it. That stamp is the same one on a lot of the last PVD cased heuers made when thay where taken over by T.A.G. But made by them/ I derfer to Chucks post on that. made by somebody close to the family. a supplier that helped them both for sure.
If it is like most Le jours you see it will not be a screw down crown and the size will be a bit differant of the sub hands etc.

The ones with the screwed crown that look NOS, are not the early ones. There for thay where made with the modern sythetic oils and closed up tight and out of temp changs. So it should be good to go.

There will be a differance in time keeping after about a week of useing it every day. It may run fast 10 sec+ a day after the 1st week.

If its a none screw type crown and shows wear, I would have it serviced, But only by persons recemended here by a few guys. If you take it and have it serviced by some high priced commercial jewlers, I would rather you did not have it serviced. I have seen to much abused chrono movments by so called high end pro watchmakers.
I think with the info you got from us all you should be coverd.
Welcome
Peter
