Re: Fake parts? more
In Response To: Fake parts???? *LINK* ()

: Hi,
: I found a link for spares in old posts which
: lead me to

: http://www.uhren-roemer.de/store/index.html who
: seem to have heuer spare cases dials and
: glass which are the same as the model in the
: ebay link.

: Are these fakes?
: And if so, where can I get real Heuer parts
: i.e. monza dial hands and glass?

: Thanks

: J

Hello I can not read German at all,

But that seems to to be a 7765 with a 7750 auto parts put on it and he has to replace with a new Back cover for the auto bits.

These movment parts are done by a master watchmaker, I beleave I know this watchmaker Buy his work, If its who I think it is, He is very honest. Just ask him any ?s he speaks good English.
Real Old Heuer Parts. I think not The screws are cold blued, no body would redo a Heuer rotor. and if you have agood screen see if its a 17 J. or 25 j movment. its a newer glucore balance & viod of plastic parts. I would guess a newer 25 j.
It seems as it may have real Heuer crown.
These case where sold awhile ago very cheap with NO heuer markings.
I beleave the Guys here have some info on the dials. I have no idea whats up.
I know I bought 4 of these cases with dials from a Swiss buddy for $100.00 us about 2 years ago. I have a dark gray dial this dial and anothers . its the same but my dials have no names on them. Also all cases came with the white tachy ring.
I am off to find that other site you spoke of.
By The way this is a well finished movment, do not excpect your Heuer 7750s to look like this.
Thanks for showing us this. it was a plesure to see nice work being done.
