I have just learned from the previous owner (telephone conversation on June 3, 2009) that this "third" Monaco was not sold to this wealthy West Coast car guy (M), but was sold to a gentleman in Italy. This is consistent with the story that we heard about this Monaco being sold at Padua vintage car meet. Wealthy West Coast car guy was seeking to buy Le Mans-related Rally Master pair from this same seller.
So we have seen three of "Steve's" Monacos sold, before the Antiquorum / Maher piece. One to TAG-Heuer Museum; two to collectors in Italy.
