Related to classics
In Response To: Omega Afficianados ()

Hi.

There are some watches that have become classics: Rolex's Oyster (Day Date, Submariner, etc.), JLC's Reverso, AP's Royal Oak, PP's Calatrava, Cartier's Tank Français and Omega's Speedy, to name a few.

Besides, the Seamaster & Constellation lines are getting closer to this status. DeVille, unfortunately, is becoming unfocused and dull (in my opinion, of course).

So Omega has three of its four current lines of watches being or becoming classics, and it knows and behaves accordingly. Also, technical service is very good and prices aren't out of control. Hence, Omega's popularity among watchnuts.

I also love Rolexes, but their current prices discourage me from buying them.

Best regards.
