If I've learned nothing else in the last year or so, 'most' automatics contain a movement manufactured by one of about three movement manufcturers such as ETA or Lemania, etc. In other words, "any" watch containing one of these movements, should be as reliable as the other. Some companies manufacture their own movements, and are very reliable as well. As for "how does Omega stack up against the others?", you can read the information contained on this site. They are very good watches and imho, dollar for dollar, you get a lot of watch.
