I realize that you know far moe about Omega's than I, but is not the case size the same for the auto vs Quartz? and I would also think the Omega auto version would be cost prohibitive. My only problem is my watch is worth about $450 on the used market, with both boxes, original papers, warranty leather wallet and card.
The auto COSC version if found is about $900> on the used market. So I was thinking about another $250 into the watch for a used Omega auto movement if one could be found plus labor.
