Get the one that you like better, or fits what you'll be using the watch for. If you dive or swim, definitely get the SeMP... 300m water resistance is a must. Don't try to swim with a SpMP as it's rated for only 30m.
If you need a chronograph, and prefer a manual wind watch, get the SpMP. The Speedy also has a lot of great history to it.
What if you dive and need a chronograph too? The SeMP chronograph may be the answer.
Bottom line is, get what you like. Each watch has pluses and minuses. It all depends on what you need it for.
