I had contacted them; a nice response with clear instructions except the customs exemption thing. I'm encouraged by their willingness to work on it - I haven't had any luck here except for one skilled and enthusiastic craftsman who did a great job of replacing a stripped index wheel, cleaning and calibrating the watch for a very reasonable amount. I wish he hadn't up and left suddenly ... I took it back without knowing he'd left and his replacement "broke" it (munged up the indexing, I suspect - it gains seconds per hour, plus the hands are mis-aligned).
