Thanks Derek
There are, as you point out, lots off options. The only really good one being the bracelet.
I went to a different store today and they had the original dark blue Omega rubber strap with the double folding clasp. It does look good, no doubt about that! Has all the details. The curved ends and a thick head to fit the watch thickness. Only thing is, he wanted 450 $ for it, which I find a bit much for a supplement strap. It's only going to replace the bracelet for short periods, and even though he lowered the price to 300 $, he didn't make the sale!
He also showed me a sharkskin strap, but it was a bright blue which was all wrong. However, I could see how a shark skin would fit the watch nicely, being as thick and rugged as it is, and I think I'll buy one if I find the right colour. But for now I bought a simple leather one in just the right colour. It's on now, and it looks a bit flat and dull compared with the bracelet. My solution to this will be to abuse it, and wear it up, as fast as I can and get a shark skin :)
Thanks
