Yup that was done today. I returned it to the dealer I bought it from. I was shocked to see this happen. I take extream care with the watch. I have no idea what could cause the seals to fail after only 15 months. I haven't dived with it nor do I wear it when I'm doing anything that might cause damage to the watch. The dealer is sending it to the service center. Curious to see if they list the failure. I asked my authorize dealer, about pressure testing the watch. Of course they don't have that capability and the salesman I spoke to didn't even know that was suppose to be done, that bothers me too. It appears Omega recommends that be done annually. I'm in SE Michigan wonder where I could take it to be tested. I'm concerned that first, why did the seals failed after only 15 months and will it happen again in short order, second why doesn't Omega require their authorized dealers to have proper equipment to perform recommended annual testing, and third why does a $1700 watch have only a one warranty (my Citizen is 5 years), but then again shame on me for buying it knowing that up front. I guess I had greater expectations. In my opinion, such a failure should be covered indefinitely. Come on this is a diving watch rated to 300 meters. I'll see what happens. Sorry to ramble I'm just a little upset and thanks for the advice.
