I recently bought a stainless steel Seamaster De Ville manual-wind. It has Tiffany & Co in red under the raised Omega logo at 12 o'clock. I think it is in excellent condition and keeps excellent time, in the range of +2 to +4 sec per 24 hrs. As far as I can tell from reading various forums, its vintage is probably late 60's.
I have two questions for the experts:
1) What is the power reserve specification for this model? In these models, normally how many turns would fully wind up the watch?
2) There is no water resistance capability now as the crystal would fogged up after I came out of the rain a couple of days ago. What can be done so that it can at least withstand some casual water contact?
Thanks
