For the answer to the NUMBER #1 most frequently asked question here--for details or value of a specific older Omega watch you have--go to: Tell Me About My Omega. | Learn more about How To Include Photos and HTML In Your Postings. | To contact someone with a question not relevant to other readers of the forum, please click on their email address and contact them privately. |
I have seen several postings with people suggesting that you send your Omega directly to Switzerland, and not the authorized service center in Philadalphia. Has anyone had experiences with both? Which one is better, regarding turnaround time, pricing (for out of warranty watches), and general service? Some people have reported problems with the Philadelphia service center. I live in the San Francisco Area and there is an Authorized service center here (according to the phonebook). Anyone have any experiences with them? Any input or suggestions? When I do have to send my watch in for service I don't want to get my watch back in a plastic bag with scratches on it.
Dave.
