Speedmaster bracelet on SMP

Ok, here's a good one. I just purchased a full size SMP automatic, with the black dial. I'm not too crazy about the seamaster bracelets (I like bracelets with the micro- adjustment in the clasp). I do however like the older speedmaster "moon watch" bracelets. I understand they might, or might not work, and would like to know if anyone has put a speedmaster bracelet on an SMP? Thanks......marc
