: Sorry, I may have misunderstood. I'm talking
: about plastic (hesalite) crystals here. A
: nail buffer, is NOT a nail file. It's
: roughly the same shape and size as a 1/4 lb.
: of butter, each side having a varying degree
: of grit.
: Essentially, you "sand" the crystal,
: which will remove the scratches, but appear
: cloudy. Then applying a small amount of
: Brasso with a soft cotton cloth, you polish
: it. Voiola!! Scratches gone. But I repeat!!
: This is NOT for sapphire scystals.
: I've used this technique, as well as countless
: other guys over at TZ. It's not uncommon!! I
: believe that if you have really scratched
: your SMP crystal, no amount of polywatch or
: any other product will remove the scratches.
: You're looking at a new crystal.
: Best regards,
: Dave
Thanks for the tip Dave, but my sapphire crystal is fine and I am not looking for anything for it.
I would like to use the satin finish bar to remove some scrathces from my bracelet and my clasp.
