Like others, I was skeptical and refused for a year or more to purchase a Luminox. I own a Speedy, an elderly Connie, a Girard Perregaux, etc. I must say that for the money (I own a Navy Seals, black on black version which I wear mostly on weekends, but from time to time to the office where I have received a number of compliments), this is one helluva a watch. I became ever more fond of it when I received a call from my watchmaker (as I did today) informing me of additional work on my elderly Connie. BUY IT!
