Sounds like a bad deal to me. Besides the choice of auto versus quartz--which I leave up to you which you prefer--you would be losing too much value in that deal. The automatic sells new for $250-400 more than the quartz. Plus your auto is virtually brand new.
I wouldn't. That is a good opportunity for the other guy to upgrade his watch real cheap at your expense. But it is not a great deal for you unless you have a strong reason to regret your choice of an auto...or you really need the $100.
