My parents had my SS SMP engraved on the case back. There is one word in-between each lug. The benefit to this is that the case back is pretty much a permanent part of the watch that should never have to be replaced and that allows you to replace the bracelet and still retain the original engraving. The downside is that because the case back is slightly curved it needs to be done by hand. This means the watch needs to be sent to a professional engraver and it is a bit more expensive. My watch has 20 letters and it cost about $55.00 to have it done. Hope that helps.
