eBay's often just a matter of doing plenty of research, being plenty vigilent, and buying only from sellers who seem reputable. For something like an Omega, I wouldn't wait to receive it to find out if the SN's are still intact, I just ask outright. It's also a good idea to recieve a guarantee from the seller that if you have the watch checked out and it's not 100% authentic or it doesn't work, they'll refund your money. It all comes down to working eBay, and not letting it work you. Other than that, it's a fantastic source for great deals, low prices (but this doesn't mean you shouldn't research and compare), and an amazing array of items.
