I've worn my Seamaster in every environment with no problems. Ever. I just don't like taking my watches off for anything. To me it is a tool, and being an Omega, one of the best. My wife is even worse. She only takes off her early eighties Rolex Oyster once every four of five years for servicing. She never had a problem. Same with my mother and her oyster and my sister with her Seamaster. I treated my old Heuer 1000 in the same manner without a hitch and will treat this one the same way. We are all divers and the watches go with us to whatever reef or wreck we are diving. No, I won't go banging it into walls, but I will wear it in the same manner. I know commercial diver's whose twenty-something year old Submariners and Sea Dwellers don't have a milimeter without a major scratch or even gouge and they have never had a problem. They wear it while doing underwater welding and all sorts of things. And I find the Seamaster to be every bit as good as those watches.
