My first choice would be a titanium pro, but for reasons that most probably couldn't relate to.
It's the bezel. I simply don't like a bezel that "overwhelms" or tends to "distract" from the watch face. It probably just MY quirky problem. It's the reason I dont' like the GMT or Explorer IIs. The Rolex Explorer is pretty cool, but it doesn't come with date.
Most of the pros come with a colored dial. The titaniums are just brushed.
This particular Seamaster has a polished bezel with smaller blue (?) lettering and is much more subdued, to me, than the other bezels. Plus, the all white face with the "earlier" hands and face almost looks "dressy" - it seems like a watch I could wear to the symphony OR fly fishing.
Now, aren't you glad you asked :) .
The reason for my original question was to find out if there was something "quirky" I might want to know - I appreciate the responses.
