I look at a lot of men's wrists (it's the only part I look at) on my daily mass transit commute and I don't see the Bond SMP that often at all. I think I saw it once in the past month. Even if it is "popular" ....this could mean it's only on one in a thousand-or 5 thousand- wrists. I don't personally know a single person who has it so I'm not afraid of it being pedestrian, and as for flashy, a watch is really the only piece of jewelry a man can wear, aside from the wedding ring.
And for me, the SMP is about my maximum flash level now, I'm not interested in competing with someone wearing a Patek Philipe.
