I chose the black/black because of the more straightforward design, which brings improved legibility, and - I'm just being honest here, don't hit me too hard - because I didn't want to look as if I got me a 1500 Euro watch because of James Bond.
The only thing I wasn't completely pleased with in the beginning, was the Speedyish bracelet. But it grew onto me within days. I wouldn't want to have the original SMP bracelet anymore. I'm currently considering a NATO strap. I think I'm about to lose my mind. ;-)
That said, the blue/blue is a really nice piece of jewelry, just not my cup of tea, since I like it a lot less flashy. My wife likes it a lot, though, and I'm seriously thinking of getting her a mid-size quartz for our wedding anniversary in August.
I'm wondering if _anybody_ has a blue dial/silver bezel SMP, though. I've never heard of one, nor seen one except on Omega's website.
