: Omega have told me that all watches except GMT and
: cronographs are available with quartz movements.
That info is not completely correct. Currently, NONE of the mens Seamasters with the new style hands and dial (like on the GMT) OR those in titanium are available with quartz movements. This includes the 150th Anniversary diver series and the new America's Cup Limited Edition.
: I am considering the JB (quartz) and 2231.80 (Ti).
: Which Omega should I go for?
The 2231.80 is NOT a quartz model. Only the James Bond models in full size (2541.80, 2542.80, or 2542.20) or mid size (2631.80, 2642.80, 2642.20) meet all your criteria.
Good luck! You should definitely enjoy this watch!
