This watch looks an awfull lot like the Omega Constellation from the same period. (late 1960's, early 70's maybe). I have what looks to be an identical case shape on two of my Connie's, though i don't own any with day-date feature.
The fact that it is chronometer rated points to the very strong possibility this watch was produced no earlier than 1967 and utilizes the Omega cal.751 movement. This was the 1st year this chronometer day-date movement was used, and i suspect this watch was ordered this way or Omega had a backlog of seamaster cases and made use of them by putting the higher grade movement in in it.
Either way the movement is a good one, and deserves an overhaul should you start to wear it regularly. Enjoy!!!!1
: I have this very nice Seamaster that my pop
: gave to me, but I don't know anything about
: it. Go to the link to view a pic. I am going
: to write to Omega as soon as I can get the
: case opened for the serial number, but in
: the meantime I am hoping that one of you
: will know something about it. I was recently
: told that it was supposed to have a second
: push button at the 2 o'clock mark, but I
: have to say it surely doesn't look like
: anything was ever there. I would be grateful
: if you would share any info you might have
: on this watch. . . Thanks!!
