Simply, the GMT does not offer the diver's expansion, so it does not need the large clasp mechanism that the Pro does.
The GMT has a Seamaster bracelet that works like the current DeVille bracelets -- the links appear to go all the way around. The clasp is a hidden one with a small Omega symbol set in it.
