Given that knowledge about the bracelet... (more)
In Response To: Re: Definitely the face (more) ()

...I think I need to see the movie again. I didn't pay as much attention to the back of the bracelet as I did to the face, and it is possible that the lighting could have made the face look different. As I said, several folks swear that it is the Seamaster Pro all the way through. I just didn't notice the blue bezel and dial as much. I will look for the clasp/no clasp.

Still, given my choice, I have to say my preference is for the Seamaster Pro. The blue colors really add to it, and I can actually use the bezel function of the Pro more than the GMT bezel function. Also, I am not crazy about the font used for the numbers on the GMT bezel. The only thing I like about the GMT more than the Pro is the solid hands, but I don't really want to wait until March 2000 or later to see if the next generation Pro will come with solid hands (as it appears it will). That's four months away!

What would be YOUR personal choice among the three if you did not have either at present and you were in the market to buy just one: Current Seamaster Pro 2531.80, GMT, or a rumored 2000-model Seamaster Pro with solid hands?
