Re: whats the deal with accuracy?!
In Response To: whats the deal with accuracy?! ()

when I bought my Omega automatic 3 years ago I accepted the fact that my wonderful watch is a mechanical device. I knew then that my watch can never compete with even the most inexpensive quartz watch as far as accuracy is concerned. A minute or two of deviation from the true time in a given period is acceptable to me. I can always set the correct time with no problem. Pin point accuracy is not a big thing for me.With this frame of mind I simply started to enjoy my watch.

now, what surprised me was the Omega's near-quartz accuracy. I didn't expect my Omega mechanical watch to be this accurate. I now enjoy my Omega doubly so.

cheers
