I have a 6.5" wrist and had three links removed. That allows me to wear it loose enough that it slides down over my wrist bone, but not so loose that the watch would slide to the other side of my wrist.
Though I definitely agree with MMC. The *right* fit is hard to predict. Especially since you have both FULL and HALF links in the mix and the contours of your wrist may be different from mine. Getting it adjusted for best comfort may take some trial and error.
But at least for starters, have them remove three. That should make it wearable when you take it out of the box.
