I'd be prepared to swear Omega paid costume designer
: Lindy Hemming extra to cut Brosnan's sleeves two inches too
: short, or perhaps Pierce was going the extra mile as an
: Omega ambassador by making sure that extra couple of inches
: of wrist stayed visible.
As I wrote recently on this list, I finally received my own Seamaster Pro 2531.80 on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. I thought that because Brosnan's watch always seems to show even though he wears long sleeves and a suit, the watch must be so damn big that it doesn't fit underneath a shirt! Well, I can tell you that mine fits just fine! If I reach for something, then sometimes the watch gets caught outside my cuff, but it quickly hides again as I move my arms around naturally. I am sure that they made sure the watch could be seen.
