Hi,
My exactly same watch was loosing about 2-3 sec a day when bought it, about 15 months ago. By 11 months of ownership it reached to about -8 sec a day. I took it then to Omega center to be regulated. They did it by two visits, like through "Trial and error", but ever since it has been gaining by one sec in about 4-5 days.(!!!)
Don't give it up, it's an excellent watch.
Regards, Baruch.
: Hello,
: I have a chronometer - not even two months old
: - and every week I lose about 1 to 2
: minutes. Is that normal?
: Also, when I change the date or time... etc...
: and push the button (knob) back in, then
: begin to tighten -I hear and feel a rapid
: clicking - click, click, click, click - like
: it is fully wound or something - and as if a
: spring inside is going to break. I thought
: this watch doesn't need winding. I'm
: confused.
: Anyone with suggestions.
: Personally, I'm not happy with Omega watches.
: Not impressed with the quality for an 1800
: watch. Have had TAGs for half that price
: without a hitch.
