hey, I wanted to comment on which battery for the SMP since I have one too. I install many, many
watch bateries in the past. And what I use is a little guide tool that Renata makes that you just pop in the battery in the selection guide,and you then can tell which one is correct. I agree that the everready 395 is not the battery that Omega would use. They would probably use an Renata.
However if Everready and Renata last the same amount of time then I would not hessitate to drop an Everready in. Now about the size, I beleive that if the watch battery fits in the watch then it will work given the correct amount of voltage(1.55)usually. So if they put in a 395 then I
agree. that is the right size. By the way, the 377 is the most common of all batteries. It seems like I always have to replenish my stock with that one.
