I believe that the 2054.50 is a very versatile watch to wear in both a casual and formal dress mode. The black of the 2054.50 looks great in formal wear, then, you can remove the bracelet and get casual in either a NATO strap or any other strap that suits you. I feel that the blue coloured "bond" is limited in your clothing choices because of it's colour. It is all cosmetic. you will recieve the same mov't,(depending on your choice of quartz or auto; I recommend you go auto.) Good luck!
