This message is for all the owners of Omega watches that love there timepeices and are either up for service or need a repair. Three months after purchasing my Omega Seamaster I returned it to an authorized dealer to have a link installed in the bracelet. The dealer badly scratched the crystal and agreed to send it to the Omega facility in the USA.This facility kept my watch for 2 1/2 months and returned it with a large fingerprint on the inside of the crystal and dust particles that were all extremely visible. Back it went with the promise that the watch would be replaced for a new one. Well after a week of waiting for my new watch I contacted the rep. that promised me the new watch and she told me it was in for repairs again.I was angry but in 3 weeks I received my watch again with a smudge where the fingerprint used to be and 3 different dust particles on the face of the watch.I was promised a new watch again by a rep but like the proverb says, " Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me " instead I contacted Omega Swizerland who contacted a manager at the US facility who contacted me and told me they could attempt another repair.I give up! We may own Swiss timepeices but the Us facility is like me taking my Porshe GT3 to a Ford dealership for repairs. Be afraid be very very afraid!!!! Good luck to all Omega watch owners and I hope this experience never happens to you but it might!
