I own an authentic Seamaster with the serial numbers removed. I purchased it before I knew what to look for from a local shady dealer. The watch is about 3 years old. The watch came with the little sticker still attatched to the certified chronometer tag. I see a number on it and I was wondering if the serial number is anywhere in that mess of numbers? I was also told that there are probably still serail numbers on the inside of the watch. Is this true and who can open it to take a look with the ability to reseal it?

The casue of my problem is that it looses time to an untolerable extent and is in need of service. Omega hasn't been helpfull on the phone and their representative wasn't very informed about their policy. I either a need serial number so that I can get it serviced by omega, or I need a trustworthy place, other than omega who can service it at a reasonable price. I have allready gotten prices quoted for service but, at those prices I might as well sell it on ebay.

Has anyone with a grey market watch tried to get omega to service it? I was worried to try, becase I don't want to risk them "loosing" it or confiscating it. I don't see how they would have legal grounds to do this, but I still dont' wan to risk it ,regardless.
