Having the watch "adjusted" for the time change when it's currently changing consistantly at 12:05 is rediculous! With the exception of a certain model Rolex having a special section on the movement ALLOWING fine adjustment and consistancy of the day change, and which is rarely even seen anymore in the vintage watches for sale,......5 minutes off is GREAT! They have a spring that works to release the wheel, and there is some lee-way allowed as to this change.

My current speedmaster two tone of about 11 years in age "could" use an adjustment in this area, as it changes a couple hours early actually! But as it keeps time to + 5 or +6 sec/day, looks like new, and was supposidly overhauled by Omega about a year ago according to the previous owner......i'll wait until i get it serviced to have it adjusted in 4 or 5 more years. All of my 5 vintage 18k Connies run great, and all vary as to the day change. Some are 10-15 min early, and some up to 20 min late.

But as long as you can remember what day it is during the day when you'll need it most.......seems like you should remember for that 5 min period you hadn't gone back in time! LOL
