I'm not so sure about blue on black, although it may be very nice. It's your call! Having said that, most of the Speedmaster's I have seen where the bracelet is swapped for a strap, is usually some sort of shade of brown, which gives the watch a more classy look. As Speedmaster's have a black face as well, I can only use this as a guide. I put a medium blue strap on my Speedy and didn't like it. So, I went with a honey colored croc strap and I love it. Other's might not.
