I think Richard well understands the significance of Omega. You may remember that Omega was on the short list of the first six forums he had in mind.

Richard is trying to gain the respect of many notoriously Internet-skittish watch manufacturers by showing them how much of a positive watch buyer community there is on the Internet. By doing this, he has already made major leaps in obtaining manufacturer involvement in the Internet watch community.

I do not take it as a slight against Omega or us Omega fans that he gave priority to several other brands. With what he is trying to achieve, he, like any other great leader, sets priorities where he thinks he can achieve the most. Based on his results do far, he has chosen well!

It is much easier for me to open a simple watch forum. Richard has many audiences he is trying to accomodate. I am simply a watch nut with one major area of interest, no large scale objectives, and no suppliers to offend.

That is probably a simple refresh issue. I may be able to force that on this end. Until I can, please simply use your browser's Refresh button. If that does not help, please let me know.

I ran into that too. The forum software does a check to make sure you don't post a message twice -- but it should not count a Preview against you. If you change anything in the message (such as add an extra space at the end), it will let you continue.

TZ has this turned off and you frequently see doubly posted messages there. So I will investigate further before I simply turn that check off.

Actually, I look forward to TimeZone opening an Omega forum. I know it will be well done when it is. That then would allow me to return to my original objective of focusing just on Seamasters and Speedmasters.
