Anyone understand what is happening with the above model (2598.80/2599.80?) I'm thinking of buying one but I'm getting the impression it is about to be replaced by new more expensive versions based on the Broad arrow movement (presumably similar to the current America's Cup Seamasterlimited editions).
Can anyone confirm if this is definitely the case and when/what new styles etc. How long are the old models likely to be available? Any views on owning the old model (especially quality of timekeeping) and the perceived benefits of paying what looks like a £1000 more for the new model would be appreciated.
