Re: Seamaster Cosmic info

Hello Martin,
I've got four Seamaster Cosmics.
Two of them are the one piece case type, steel, one silver dial non date and one black dial date model with "use tool 105" on the back which I believe have a 600 series movement and are 34mm wide.
The other two are Seamaster Cosmic 2000's which are much larger cases. I don't know what movements lurk in these as I've never had the backs off.
I am however sending one in for a service soon and will let you know about the movement inside.
I have heard conflicting tales of them being top of the line under the Constellations but it seems to me Omega used the term "Cosmic" on various lines of watch over the years.
Its funny nobody seems to know much about them, possibly the one piece cases preclude amateurs getting the backs off!
Cheers,
Neil.
