Two questions...
Where did you get a deal like that in California? I got mine for 1100 in California.
I'm guessing your ordered it over the phone or something? Is that how you got out of the tax? Cuz I paid 7.something% tax
: If it is an authorized dealer I would snap it
: up IMMEDIATELY.
: If it is Unauthorized dealer, then it's still
: pretty good, but not TERRIFIC! Especially if
: the serial numbers are not in tact.
: I have seen this watch for sale for around this
: price (with serial numbers)from several grey
: marketeers. I have seen this watch for
: around 650 or 700 with serial numbers
: removed.
: One way of thinking about it is to look at avg.
: and above avg. discounts avail. from auth.
: dlr. For instance, 10 to 20% discount is
: common whereas 33 to 35% is rare but
: possible.
: I wouldn't go grey unless the savings was
: SUBSTANTIALLY HIGHER than 35% off. And I
: wouldn't buy sans serial numbers unless it
: is offered at greater than half off, for
: NIB.
: FYI: I purchased MIDSIZE QUARTZ from Auth. Dlr.
: for 900 while in California. I think that
: this was a pretty good deal. I paid no tax
: b/c I was out of state.
: Good luck and tell us what you decide.
