Generally, does a concernt pianist appear at Carnegie Hall and perform on an electronic (casio!?) keyboard?
'If' he/she did, an educated ear would tell the difference.
Generally, do world famous chefs prepare their signature meals in a microwave oven?
'If' he/she did, an educated palete would tell the difference.
Why attend a play or concert, or even a sporting event if you can catch the same story or same song on TV or CD?

I(we) all 'understand' your point. It's difficult to explain the 'appreciation' for the 'finer' things in life to someone who puts a heavy emphasis on logic and nano-second accuracy.
