I wear mine as most of the others have mentioned I take it off when mowing the lawn anything with banging like hammering and/or dusty situations like sanding but I do swim 5 days a week and wear it in the shower to bed etc. the odds of me misplacing it in my opinion taking the watch off all the time is a bigger risk than damaging the very tough BOND SeMP although i did just buy a Fortis flieger auto WR200 meter for swimming so I don't subject the OMEGA to constant unrelentless use every thing/body needs a rest sometime wear with care and enjoy I wish that OMEGA made a secondary or back up to the push button opening clasp though
