Is there any information out there on how much movement or how long it takes to build up the power reserve while wearing the watch?
: You probably don't need a repair!
: Wearing it 8 hours a day during the week and
: four on weekends is barely enough to keep it
: going, especially if you are relatively
: inactive when you wear it (e.g a desk job) I
: believe the problem is your reserve power is
: depleted. Is there a trend? Does your watch
: stop more often when you've had it off your
: wrist for a long period of time (on the
: weekend say?)
: For staters wind it fully (50-60 turns) note
: the time, and place it on a table. Allow it
: to run down to determine the amount of
: reserve power your watch has. It should be
: around 44 hours.
: Most of us wear our SMPs 10-12 or more hours
: per day 6-7 days a week. If you fully wind
: your watch on Saturday and wear it for only
: 4 hours and then let it rest, 20 hours later
: your reserve will be down to 24 hours. If
: you repeat the process without winding on
: Sunday, you reserve will be down to 4 hours
: or so. Wearing it 8 hours a day during the
: week may not completely restore the reserve.
: Remember, you're NOT wearing for 16 hours
: every day. Based upon your wearing habits,
: I'd be surprised if it didn't stop after a
