Funny thing, the same thing happened to me when I got my SM. I finally had to contact the local post office myself, (this is no easy feat in itself, you'll find that the local post offices insulate themselves from the public) I finally got ahold of a supervisor whom tracked it down and delivered it himself. It seems that the everyday carrier has to go through some extra steps when a high value item is to be delivered on his route. Many put the delivery off or pawn it off on a special delivery route, after all the carrier gets paid the same whether he delivers your package today or tomorrow or the next day. I finally filed a complaint. They finally followed up with a few days later not knowing that in the interim, the package had already been delivered. The USPS is a mess, which is why companies like UPS, FedEx and DHL started and are doing so well. Next time have your order delivered by UPS or FedEx and have the seller provide you with the tracking number, with that tracking number you can follow your package accross the country right to your door via the companies websites. GOOD LUCK!
