Blue Dbl. Rdg. Confusion!!

I like the one shown in the picture from Vince, but I am confused.

Vince's shows the folding deploy. clasp. I have one of these CLASPS, with a black single-dome strap.

I thought the RIDGED strap could ONLY be used with the "double-deploy." clasp that is shown in the link. I thought that this clasp type REQUIRED cutting the strap to one size only. I have never handled this "double-deploy." clasp.

QUESTION: Are there two "types" of ridged strap...one for each clasp type? Or do I not comprehend that the ridged strap CAN be affixed to EITHER type of clasp?

If I can get a blue ridged strap, as shown in Vince's photo, I would get one for my 2055.80 (Stainless bezel, electric blue face, SS) That would be something you don't see every day.
